4 Cool Venice Instagram Accounts You Should Follow Now
Small-scale dinners, a new cooking school, lagoon activism and all the charm of vintage seafaring - Exclusive for Paid Subscribers of Dash of Prosecco
Welcome to Dash of Prosecco, a newsletter dedicated to food, slow travel, and life on the Venetian mainland. Thank you for reading!
Dear readers,
I’m so glad to welcome you to the first Dash of Prosecco newsletter of 2024! This post is esclusively for paid subscribers and founding members—a New Year’s present to thank you all for your support from the bottom of my heart.
During the long, idle hours of bed-rest that bridged me over to 2024 (yes, like half of Italy, I, too came down with a very nasty flu right after Christmas) I managed to compile a little list of Instagram nuggets: a highly curated collection of accounts I think you will appreciate very much.
Small-scale dinners in the country, a new cooking school in town, lagoon activism and all the charm of vintage seafaring.
These four accounts, I chose not for the breathtaking photos of Venice, or engaging reels (although, some of them do have beautiful aesthetics). But rather, for the people behind them, the humans that every day keep the city, the lagoon, and the mainland alive with passion and vision.
Venetians, islanders, coastal and mainland dwellers who possess intimate knowledge of the local geography, produce, and the natural and social dynamics that define what we call “Venice”. It’s up to us to support them :)
I know some of you are considering visiting Venice this year so this will come in handy! (not sponsored).
Let me know if you like the format, I hope to share more throughout 2024.
